C language was developed in 1972 by Dennis Ritchie of AT&T (American Telephone & Telegraph), located in U.S.A.
It was developed to overcome the problems of previous languages such as B, BCPL etc.

Dennis Ritchie developed language in 1972 by modifying earlier language BCPL at AT & T BELL LABORATORIES OF USA. It is the software programming language. The first system software UNIX was developed by C language.
