Classification of elements into groups and development of periodic law and periodic table address consequences of systematizing there knowledge gained by a number of scientists throught there observations and experiments.

The concept of bouldering a table came in early 1800’s by a German chemist Johann Dobereiner who was first to consider the idea triads.

Then came a French geologist A.E. de Chancourtois in 1862 who arranged the elements in order of increasing atomic weights.

Again after 3 years an English chemist John Alexander Newlands in 1865 profounded Law Of Octaves . He arranged the elements in increasing order there atomic weights and noted that every eight element had similar properties took the first element. As shown below

The periodic law, as we know today owes its development to the Russian chemist Dmerit Mendeleev and the German chemist Lothar Meyer .

Even though both had same ideas and there arranging there elements matched Dmerit Mendeleev is generally credited with the development of Modern Periodic Table.
