Hcl Hno3 show acidic characters in aqueous solution because all is it compulsory have hydrogen as a constituent element in form of H+. Like HCL, sulphuric acid and nitric acid. When these acids dissolve in water they produce hydronium ions . These acid solution converts blue Litmus to red and methyl orange from Orange to pink due to their acidic properties which is due to the large concentration of hydronium ions
