In the auditorium of Bar Council of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry (BCTNP) in Chennai, Among the 485 youngsters, Sharmila at the age of 36 will be the first transgender and probably one of the few in the country, to register as the lawyer. However, Sharmila had faced lots of discrimination and abuses while finishing her course but her determination and hard work to support the transgender community led her to this achievement.
