The party which wins the highest number of seats alone in the lok sabha election forms the government .

A party is eligible to form govt. only after it wins 272 seats in the election, which is more than 50% of the total seats.

for eg. NDA(national democratic alliance) forms the govt. this year as it has won more than 50% of the total seats(542) all alone.

Answer:

General Elections (Lok sabha) Every adult citizen of India can vote only in their constituency.☺️ ☺️ ☺️ Candidates who win the Lok Sabha elections are called 'Member of Parliament' and hold their seats for five years or until the body is dissolved by the President on the advice of the council of ministers.☺️ ☺️ ☺️ ☺️ ☺️
