World War I (1914 - 1918)

The First World War was fought not only by two countries but two powers. They were the Allies and the Axis powers. The Allied Powers during World War One were the Britain, France, Italy, Russia, and the United States. The Axis powers during World War One were the Germany, Austria-Hungary, Ottoman Empire and Bulgaria. These were the two powers who fought against each other in the First World War. The First World War was won by the Allied powers.
