Solution: Raja Ram Mohan Roy is the founder of Brahmo Samaj. It was founded in the year 1828 in Calcutta.
At that time, British ruled India and there were lots of social issues prevailing in India.
He also abolished the sati system in which females commit suicide while jumping into the fire after the death of the husband.
