Sita went to Anasuya to seek her blessings. While old Anasuya blessed her, she gave Sita garland that would never wither away, Clothes that would never become old, and jewels. Sita wore the clothes and jewels and Anasuya applied Sandal paste and perfume on Sita, whose fragrance would never vanish.
