Jawaharlal Nehru gave the title of Rani to the Naga women leader Gaidinliu.

Explanation:

Gaidinliu was a Spiritual and a political leader from Nagaland. She revolted against “the British Rule in India”. She joined a movement led by her cousin which was a political movement for driving the British out from Manipur and other Naga regions. Jawaharlal Nehru had met Gaidinliu in “1937” in the jail in Shillong. He promised to get her released from the Jail. Jawahar Lal Nehru thereafter called her a Queen and gave her the name of Rani. She was known as  Rani Gaidinliu after that.
