The great Maratha Kingdom in India was found by Chatrapati Shivaji. He ruled over India and was remembered for his valiant, responsible and progressive rule. He was a great commandant with outstanding fighting skills. He stood against the Mughals single handedly. The Maratha empire dominated a large portion of India in the eighteenth century. Shivaji was died in the year 1680 and He was defeated by his eldest son Sambhajiraje. He was the first crown prince of the Maratha kingdom. He was the heir to the empire. He was a brave soldier. He fought bravely against Aurangzeb’s and other enemies of the Maratha empire. He ruled the Maratha empire from 1681 to 1689. After that, he was killed by Aurangazeb.
