Answer:

The State Coastal Police, Indian Coast Guard (ICG) and Indian Navy have the responsibility of guarding the coastal boundary.

Explanation:

The ‘Indian Coast Guard’ patrols along the ‘Economic Zone of India’, the   Indian Navy is patrolling along International Maritime Boundary Line and the State Coastal Police does boat patrolling in ‘shallow coastal areas’.

The ‘Indian Coast Guard’ has the Director-General who is appointed as Commander of ‘Coastal Command. He is responsible for the total coordination between the State and the Central agencies regarding coastal security.
