who H2o is polar and what is non polar

H2O molecule is not symetrical . the electrons are not equally distributed . it has a charge separation. the Oxygen atom has partial negative charge , whereas Hydrogen atoms hve partial positive charge .H2O has two lone pair of electrons and has dipole moment which makes it a polar molecule.

on the other hand molecules such as Cl2 , H2 have symetrical structure . the electrons are equally distributed on the two atoms . it is therefore a non polar molecule . it has no dipole moment
