Answer:

Height of the object (ho)=4cm.

Object distance(u)= -30cm.

Focal lenght(f)= -15 cm.

Image distance (v)=?

Height of the image(hi)=?

1/f=1/u+1/v

-1/15=-1/30+1/v

1/v=1/30-1/15

1/v=1-2/30

v= -30cm.

m=-v/u=hi/ho

-(-30)/-30=hi/4

hi= -4cm

1.THE IMAGE WILL FORM AT TWICE THE FOCAL LENGTH.i.e.30 cm

2.THE LENGTH OF THE IMAGE WILL BE 4cm.
