"N G Ranga" opposed the champaran satyagraha of mahatma Gandhi.

Explanation:

This Satyagraha took place in Champaran district of “Bihar” under Gandhiji's leadership in 1917. It is known as Champaran Satyagraha. This was the first Satyagrah done in India under Gandhiji's leadership. Thousands of landless workers and poor farmers had become obliged to cultivate “indigo and other cash crops” instead of food grains. There was a lot of torture on farmers who cultivate the Nile. There was a lot of exploitation from the British. The purpose of Mahatma Gandhi was to find the solutions for the problems of the farmers of Bihar's Champaran district and get rid of this misery.
