G Satheesh Reddy has been appointed a new chairman of the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO).
The topmost of the DRDO was lying vacant since the Chief DR S Christopher stepped down in May and the responsibility was given to the Defence Secretary Sanjay Mitra that was given the additional charge of the organisation.
