Both houses have the right to impeach the President. A vote has to be started, which after reaching the required number of supporters results in an investigation by the other house (ex. If the vote is started by Lok sabha then the investigation will be conducted by the Rajya Sabha), the President may or may not be present in such an investigation.

If the investigation does find the President guilty, he/she would be removed from the position of President.
