Helen's mother helped her a lot in learning few of the sign languages . Her mother made her understand a great deal . Helen made her own crude signs . A shake of her head means no and a nod means yes . She waved hands to the guests . whenever she wanted from her mother to make icecream in the dinner , she would go the freezer and act like cold . Whenever she wanted food , she would imitate the acts of slicing Bread and buttering them .
So , these are the sign launguages used by Helen .
