Centromes help in cell divison as;The main role of centrosomes in cell division is that they arrange themselves on the two opposite poles of the cell and bind the chromosomes with the fibres they produce at the centromeres of the chromosomes. They arrange the chromosomes in a line which is necessary for the equal division of chromosomes after which the formation of cleavage furrow takes place in cell division.
