I got 10gp in maths in 10th.
There's no such thing as secret. Maths need practice. I solved HOT questions of RD sharma and RS Agarwal but the main focus was on solving questions of Ncert. I solved NCERT 4-5 times in that year. So basic thing is you must know what NCERT provide you. Solve questions of NCERT as much as you can. And do not waste more than 3 hours on maths a day. Break it in parts. Do maths for 1:30 hr and then do some other subject and then after that do maths again.
One more thing, now I'm a medical aspirant due to some reasons so hope you aren't asking about higher classes than 10th.
All the best.
