Bohr improved Rutherford's model.Rutherford said that atoms move around the orbits. He got this idea from christmas pie. He said that atoms are neutral in nature.Bohr said that the atoms revolve around the nucleus in specific orbits. Each orbit has specific energy level.Bohr also labelled the atoms with K,L,M and N shells to make it easy.He said that the K shell has only 2 atoms and the maximim atoms are 8 in a shell except K shells.

Answer:
Bohr built upon Rutherford's model of the atom. In Rutherford's model most of the atom's mass is concentrated into the centre (what we now call the nucleus) and electrons surround the positive mass in something like a cloud.
