'Mid Day Meal' programme in the schools was initiated by our Late Honourable Prime Minister "Rajiv Gandhi".

He took this step to attract the children from lower and poor classes to attend schools and to educate them and give India a secure future and specially to reduce the 'Child labour' in our country.
And this programme has great success and many of the young people were enable to get elementary education.
