THE CONVENTION HAD ABOLISHED SLAVERY IN 1794.BUT IT HAD AN EFFECT ONLY FOR 10 YEARS BECAUSE IT WAS AGAIN RE-INTRODUCED BY NAPOLEON BONAPARTE IN 1804.

THEY BOUGHT SLAVES FROM MERCHANTS OF CARIBBEAN.
