» Bakelite is a type of thermosetting polymer, once set into a shape, Bakelite does not melt/ soften and retain it's shape.
» Bakelite is an Insulator.
» It is mainky used for making electrical switches & plugs. , used for making combs, fountain pens bodies, phonograph records.
