Robert Dennard was the inventor of ram: random access memory, the device was patented in 1968 by Dennard. Jay Forrester was a pioneer in early digital computer development and invented random-access, coincident-current magnetic storage.

ROM was invented in the 1980's, it was first used by Sony a major company in 1982. after Sony used it and the whole world saw it everyone started to use the rom. the ram was invented in the year 1966, it was invented by Robert dennard. when the computer is turned off ram data is lost.

hard disk was invented on September 13, 1956 by IBM team led by Rey Johnson (considered as “father” of the disk drive). Earlier hard disk drives were large and cumbersome devices. A 5 or 20 megabyte hard disk capacity was considered large in early 70 and 80’s.
