Alexander- Emily-Beguyer de Chancourtois ( 1820-1886) was a French geologist and mineralogist who was the frist to arrange the chamical element in order of atomic weight, doing so in 1862.....i hope it helps

De-chancourtois was a well known mineralogist who is known for his works in the field of elemental chemistry.

He put forward his own classification during the classification of elements in a periodic arrangement during the active years of attempts at classification.

He arranged the elements in the order of their increasing atomic weight.

He made cylindrical table of elements displaying recurrence of properties.

However, his model of classification, being chaotic, was later rejected by the scientists.
