Akhbar was the great mughal emperor.He was the son of Humayun and grandson of Babur . He ascended the mughal throne at the age of 13 after the death of his father Humayun under the leasership of Bairam Khan.He was said to fought the second battle of Panipat and battle of Haldighati against Maharana Pratap and in both he was marked victor. He had married many wives amongst them 3 were his main. He believed in religious union,and was tolerant in nature. He emphasis on establishing good relations with the Rajputs and even married a Rajput princess names Halka bai.He gave many religious freedom to his wife.akhbar's court was adorned by 9 jewels those were actually nine nobles with different skills and arts amonst them most prominent was Birbal while some other includes Man singh, Tansen etc.This shows that he patronised different art. He started the concept of Mansabdari system by asingning various ranks to his courtmen.
