Gaston Roberge made in depth study of Satyajit Ray, one of the greatest film directors, and his works in "Rendezvous with Ray". His interest to know about Ray was roused when he watched the Apu trilogy during his journey from Canada to India. Apu was the main character in the trilogy ( Pather Panchali, Aparajito,Apur Sansar)
