Explanation:

Zahiruddin Muhammad Babur was the ruler of Ferghana, a small province in Central Asia. He came to the throne after his father's death when he was just 12 years old but was soon driven out from his kingdom by the Uzbeks, another Mongol tribe.

He captured Kabul in 1504 and began to move towards India, In the beginning he concentrated on getting control of the Afghan people of the area. He gained control of Punjab from Daulat Khan, the then governer and then in 1526, he defeated Ibrahim Lodi in the first battle of Panipat and occupied Delhi and Agra.

Babur was moderate in his religious affairs and also, the defeated rulers were allowed to govern their territories if they accepted his authority. Foreign trade also become stronger because of the inclusion of these regions into the new empire.

Babur died in 1530 after a short illness, he was buried in Agra but his body was later taken to Kabul and reburied there in an open garden as per his wishes.

We get a lot of information about Babur's reign from his autobiography, Tuzuk-i-Baburi or Baburnama, which was written in Chagatai Turkish. He was educated Central Asian Turkic Muslim. His observations and comments in his memoirs reflect an interest in nature, society, politics and economics of the time.

Hope it helps you
