Babur (Zahīr ud-Dīn Muhammad,) was a conqueror emperor who laid the foundation of Mughal empire in India .He was the lineal descendant of Timur the Great of Uzbekistan . he fought and defeated the last Lodhi ruler Ibrahim Lodi in the First battle of Panipat to capture Delhi and got control of Rajputana by defeating Rana Sangha of Mewar in the battle of Khanwa.
