In the M.O.T.N survey, 44 per cent of the respondents said that N.a.r.e.n..d.r.a M.o.d.i has been the best prime minister of India so far. The second position was secured by A.t.a.l.. .B..i.h.a.r.i. ..Va.j.p.a.y.e.e. with 14 per cent votes, while Indira Gandhi bagged the third spot with 12 per cent votes. Also, J.a.w.a.h.a.r.l.a.l Nehru and M.a.n.m.o.h.a.n Singh received 7 per cent votes each and L.a.l B.a.h.a.d.u.r S.h.a.s.t.r.i gained the support of 5 per cent of the respondents.

In the past M.O.T.N surveys, the battle for the first rank was mainly between Prime Minister M.o.d.i and Indira Gandhi. However, this time, A.t.a.l B.i.h.a.r.i V.a.j.p.aye.e was voted as second.

N.a.r.e.n.d.r.a M.o.d.i has been considered as the best PM in 7 out of the 10 rounds so far. This time, (August 2020 M.O.T.N survey), M.o.d.i enjoyed the support of 44 per cent respondents -- an increase of 10 per cent points from the last survey (January 2020).
