= A friend is someone who is very close to you, with whom you laugh or cry, share your experience about whole day etc.

Faithful friends are better than flattering friends because they leave your side when you are in difficulty or in bad time. Whereas faithful never leaves your side and always stand with you in your bad time. Also they are ready to do anything for you to help you.

So, that's why it is said that -"A friend is someone who knows the song in your heart and can sing it back to you when you forget the lines".

I think bad time is the good time because during that time you came to know about your true friends.
