The Chairman of the Indian Space Research Organisation is the highest-ranked official of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), the space agency of the India. The Indian National Committee for Space Research (INCOSPAR) was found in 1962 with Vikram Sarabhai as its chairman. The Indian Space Research Organisation in its modern form was created by Vikram Sarabhai in 1969. Since then there have been seven chairman of the Indian Space Research Organisation, with Prof. Satish Dhawan serving the longest term of 12 years as the Chairman.

Since 1963 there are 10 chairman of ISRO has been appointed. The current chairman of the ISRO is K. Sivan who took the charge in January 2018.The first chairman of the ISRO was Dr. Vikram Sarabhai. 1. Dr. Vikram Sarabhai (1963 to 1972) is considered the Father of the Indian space program.
