\boxed{ANSWER : }

◆ DALTON ➡️The first scientific theory about the structure of matter (atom) was given by the Scientist, John Dalton (in 1808). He considered atom as an indivisible particle.

◆ DALTON'S ATOMIC THEORY ➡️

1] Matter consists of very small and indivisible particles called atoms.
2] Atoms can neither be created nor be destroyed.
3] The atoms of same element are alike in all respects but differ from the atoms of other elements.
4] Atoms of elements combine in small numbers to form molecules.
5] Atoms take part in a chemical reaction.

_____________

DALTON

\huge{\texbf\redWORK}}}

John Dalton in 1801 studied the mixture of gases and concluded from his experiments that when a mixture of gases is enclosed in a container , each gas exerts the same pressure as it would exert if it occupied the volume of the container alone at the same temperature .

\huge{\texbf\red{STATEMENT}}}

The total pressure os a mixture of gases is the sum of partial pressures of all the gases in it

\huge{\texbf\red{MATHEMATICALLY }}}

Pt = P1 +P2 + P3 + .........Pn

\huge{\texbf\red{PARTIAL PRESSURE }}}

The pressure of a gas in the mixture

\huge{\texbf\red{TOTAL PRESSURE }}}

The total pressure of the mixture is the sum of these partial pressures .

\huge{\texbf\red{EXPLAINATION }}}

Consider 1 , 2 , 3 non reacting gases present in the individual containers at the same temperature .
Their individual pressures are P1 , P2 ,P3 .(refer above drawing )
Now these three gases are mixed together in a single container of the same volume at the same temperature (as i have showed in above drawing).

According to Daltons Law of partisl pressure of gases Total pressure of the mixture Pt is the sum of the partial pressures of all the gases present in the mixture .

Pt = P1 + P2+P3
