Dhanvantari is the father of Ayurveda........As per the ancient scriptures of Hinduism ..vedas and Purana's... the father of Ayurveda is dhanvantari...
He was considered as the human manifestation of Vishnu.. physician of the gods and also the god of medicine... .There was also contradiction between charaka and dhanvantari... but dhanvantari accepted as father of Ayurveda..
