Charles Babbage is credited as the father of Computers. He designed an analytical machine during the 1830s. He built the first mechanical computer. Those ideas were used in making the electronic computers later on.
Alan Turing is credited as the father of Computer Science. He introduced the concept of Turing Machine in 1936. That is a theoretical computer.
John Vincent Atanasoff is credited as the father of electronic digital computer during the 1930 & 1940s. He built the electronic (analog) computer too. The patent is in his name.
Dr Vijay Bhatt is credited to be the father of SuperComputers in India.

Because he invented the first computer. He was just using one processor of 7m (today size of processor is in nm) and he attached some cables and pins together and he found that program is running.
He is also the first person to use OS. Before iventing computers he was popular for his invention of analaytical engine. He made his first computer in 1868.
