Who is Frank? Does he know taplow

Yes, Frank knows Taplow. This is because Frank was a teacher in the same school that Taplow was a student. He envied all the students including Taplow because they hold Mr Crocker-Harris in high esteem and fear. Since Mr Crocker-Harris did not arrive at the specified time to check if Taplow had done the work assigned to him, Frank suggested that he leave. But, Taplow did not do so out of fear that Mr Crocker-Harris might follow him home. Frank also encourages Taplow to voice his views about Mr Crocker-Harris and also imitate him.

Frank was the teacher and  he know the Teplow . This because the Teplow was the student in the same school the Frank was teaching . Frank does not like the rules and the regulations at the school even he did not like his subject in which he was teaching. Taplow was the student of the Mr Croker Harris . Frank enjoyed always when the taplow imitate the Mr.Croker Infact he encourage him to do so. Taplow beahviour towards Mr crocker was shows that he does not like him much.
