I don't know what kind of answer you are expecting . But I will try to give the best answer possible based on what I understood . I shall be doing it on basis of human psychology . An onion has many layers and so what you see on the outside is not always necessarily what is present on the inside .so the mentality of an onion may not be an introvert but possibly someone who doesn't open up easily . It could also be a person who hides a lot of things quite meticulously so as to prevent others from knowing his or her true mindset or opinion . Well that's my take on the mentality of an onion .
