Blaise Pascal is the Grandfather of modern computers (1623-1662)
Pascal developed a machine with system of gears. The Pascal’s calculator handled the digits in addition but the operation of subtraction cannot be done. The calculator doesn’t provide precise use in calculation purposes.
Charles Babbage is also known to be the father of Modern Computers (1791 – 1871)
He was known to be father of computer due to the invention of Analytical Engine in 1837 which consists of Arithmetic logic unit, fundamentals of flow control and the memory is integrated which is the first general purpose computer. Due to the issues in funding the computer was built only after the death of Charles Babbage.
