Bharatdas Darshandas, a priest for whom the Election Commission had been setting up a dedicated polling station deep inside Gir forest during every major election over the past two decades, died in a hospital in Rajkot on Friday after prolonged illness. The 69-year-old priest was hospitalised four days ago due to renal complications.
