Shri Narendra Modi of BJP is currently the Prime Minister of India. He was elected as the 14th full-time Prime Minister on 26th May 2014 . He is the member of the right wing Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. He replaced Dr. Manmohan Singh of the Congress-led United Progressive Alliance.

Before being elected as the prime minister, he was the Chief Minister of the state of Gujarat( 2001-2014), and also the Member of Parliament in Varanasi.
