In the Vedas, Indra is the king of Svarga (Heaven) and the Devas. He is the god of the heavens, lightning, thunder, storms, rains and river flows.Indra is the most referred to deity in the Rigveda.Rama (or Ramacandra) is the seventh avatar of the Hindu god Vishnu. His adventures, notably the slaying of the demon king Ravana, are recounted in the Vana Parva of the Mahabharata and in the Ramayana, the oldest Sanskrit epic, written sometime in the 5th century BCE but with some later additions.

With a relentless release schedule of original productions & remixes, Yama is rarely not working on a project. This is highlighted through his long list of recent remixes on Australia's leading electronic artists including Bag Raiders, Miami Horror, Sneaky Soundsystem, Cut Copy & many more. With writing & production credits for other acts such as Catcall, Radio Ink, and MESSRS under his own name, Yama just can't seem to pull himself away from Ableton Live.

Behind Yama's impressive track record on both sides of the studio glass is a constant and focused quest for more knowledge. Personal research, working with others, an Advanced Diploma in Technical Production and further Music Industry studies at RMIT, and an endless appetite for more input gives him the rich understanding of music, sound, production and the music industry to fuel his extensive output and on-point relevance.
