Gunturu Seshendu Sarma is known as yuga Kavi.
He was born on 20th October of 1927 at Nagarajupandu, Nellore, Andhra Pradesh. His parents were Subhrahmanyam Sarma and Ammaayamma.
Gunturu Seshendu Sarma was the second one who was nominated for Nobel prize. He was a Telugu poet. He won many awards for his collection, he won Sahitya Akademi Award, Nobel prize in 2004. At 18 years he was married to Gunturu Janaki. Later in 1990, he was married, Indira Devi.
He died on 30th May 2007 at Hyderabad, India.
