Heya,

Lord Garuda is Eagle. It seems to be mount of Lord Vishnu in hindu mythology.

He is a bird like creature but is treated as a god.

He is said to be very strong creature with very large wings.

A purana is devoted to him known as garuda purana.

It is also referred to as king of bird community.

It plays a role in the Mahabharata. He is said to be the son of vinata in that story.
