As soon as my mother and father left, I locked the door. After about an hour, I had a glass of my window crashed. I was frightened by the sound and went to the window to see what broke the window. Far away from the window, I saw a stone along with broken class. I am sure that someone intentionally threw the rock to broke our window. I didn't go out of the house. Meanwhile, there was knock at the door. I did go near the door but didn't open it. The sound of knocking was becoming louder, but I did not open the door. The knock stopped after a few minutes. The telephone of our house started ringing. I lifted the phone. On the call, I could hear my mom's voice saying that they were at the door. I rushed towards the door and opened it. She asked the reason for not opening the door. I narrated the whole incident. She went to the kitchen and found a ball along the broken glass. With a smile, she said that it was the ball which broke the glass. Finally, after her explanation, I understood that fear triggers our mind to think negatively.
