Nur Jahan was the twentieth wife of the Mughal emperor Jahangir. Nur Jahan was born Mehr-un-Nissa, the daughter of a Grand Vizier who served under Akbar.

Died on 17 December 1645 (aged 68) Lahore, Mughal Empire (present-day Pakistan).

She started doing all the administrative work.When Jahangir died then Nurjahan ruled the kingdom during the last 16 years of Jahangir's reign /empire.She died at 1645 A.D
