hey mate !!!

Prithviraj Chauhan was one of the greatest warrior of our Indian culture. He was born in Gujrat and was the son of Someshvara and Kamladevi.

He belonged to Chahamana dynasty.

In the second battle of Tarain 1192 A.D he was defeated by Muhammad Ghori.

Special note:

Prithviraj defeated Muhammad Ghori, in the first battle of Tarain.Ghori attacked Delhi 17 times, and was defeated 16 times at the hands of Prithviraj Chauhan and his army.

Muhammad Ghori was the Sultan of Ghurid Empire (present day Afghanistan). He was defeated by Nayaki Devi, a Goa born, Queen of Gujarat.

p.s. Prithviraj was born and brought up in Gujarat (died in Ajmer)(Ajmer is a city in Rajasthan)

Prithviraja III (1168-1192) was a Chahamanas, later known as Chauhan ruler. He ruled over the regions around Delhi and Ajmer. He defeated Sultan Muhammad Ghori, an Afghan conqueror in 1191. But only one year after it in 1192 he was defeated by Ghori. It was the end of his rule and life both.
