who is responsible for the determination of gender in humans? how does this happen? explain with the help of a diagram.

With can say that father is the one responsible for the determination of gender of a child because father has both XY trait and they go and attach to ova the gender is determined but there is noone who is responsible for the determination of gender in physical way and it is a matter if chance.
This happens by the transfer of genes by the process of sexual reproduction.

Sex determination is dependant on father as father has XY chromosomes but mother has XX chromosomes.If the sperm carrying X fertilises the ova then female baby is born.if the sperm carrying Y chromosome fertilises the egg the male baby is born.
