Who is responsible to give promotions in brainly and can a moderator get demoted?

There are actually Different ranks of Moderator :

1) Leader moderator
2) Core moderator
3) Content quality moderator
4) Brainly protector moderator
5) Support moderator
6) Recruiter moderator and
7) Apprentice moderator.

A moderator can be promoted by Administrator. And yes, a moderator can be removed from his or her rank to Brainly Veteran rank if they are inactive and unable to contribute to the moderators community.

And there are also chances of getting demoted, in case of any problems created due to him or her.

As of I know, no moderator was demoted except for removal of rank due to inactive.
