The “Responsibility to Protect” is a political commitment that was endorsed globally at the World Summit in 2005 by the member states of the United Nations.

According to the “Responsibility to Protect” act, each individual state has the responsibility to protect its populations against violence, war crimes, genocide, ethnic cleansing, and any crimes against humanity.

The States entails prevention of any such crime and should exercise its responsibility and support along with the United Nations to establish an early warning.

The Fundamental Rights refer to all the basic human rights of the citizens, which are defined in Part II of the Indian Constitution. They are the Right to Equality, Right to Freedom, Right against Exploitation, Right to Freedom of Religion, Cultural, and Educational Rights, and Right to Constitutional Remedies.

All these rights of the citizens are protected by the Constitution.
