Hey mate ,

Thales was a famous Greek mathematician .( 640-546 BC)

He gave important truth relating to two equilateral triangles :-

1) The ratio of any two corresponding sides in two equilateral triangles is always the same

It is believed that he used a result called the basic proportionality theorem or Thales theorem for the same
